You have successfully completed all your pool and class time and you are now ready to do your 4 open water dives over 2 days.

There are several ways to complete this portion of your open water certification.

1- Join us locally at a lake that has been used by divers for over 40 years.  The lake is about 1 1/2 hours from our shop and is perfect for diving.  There is a camp ground if you are wanting to camp but close enough if you wish to go home for the night.

2 - Join us in Nanaimo on one of our Charters during the year and see what everyone is raving about as far a marine life with the size and variety in the Emerald Sea. Check out our Up & Coming Trips to B.C. for dates and more information.

3 - Do your dives while on your warm water holidays with a Global Referral.

Upon successful completion of your 4 dives you are a Certified Diver.  Congratulations.  You now can travel around the world and see the many wonders of the undersea world.

Does your open water certification ever expire?  No, but depending on the time since your last use of scuba gear, your scuba diving skills could get rusty.  Some resorts will require you to do a Refresher Course, if you have not been in water with scuba gear for 6 months or more, before they will allow you to join them in scuba diving.

You can keep your skills up to date by joining us on our Free Monday Night Scuba Swim or at one of our scuba diving outings. Contact the shop for more information.

Want to do your Open Water Dry?  Do the Dry Suit Course and upon successful completion of the theory and pool work you can use a Whites Nexus Dry Suit for your open water.  What about a Nitrox Course, also.
