On-Line Open Water Certification Course
People wanting to start their Scuba Certification but live out of the area of a local dive shop, do shift work or just have life and time constraints, were restricted in how and when they could take a scuba diving course. Scuba Diving International (SDI) has solved this problem. With the use of a computer you can now complete the book part of a Scuba Course on-line at your own pace and schedule.

"Hi, I'm now on chapter 13 and I must say that the content is great!"
S. McDowell, Indiana, USA
“As an IT consultant, my schedule is constantly changing. Attending a traditional scuba course, that meets at fixed times and places, was out of the question. Thanks to the on-line course, I was able to work my academic training in around my unpredictable schedule.”
The Steps Required to Complete Your Course:
Step 1: Master all the important academic information through on-line training. You can complete this phase through self-study, at your own pace, in the convenience of your home. We will be able to monitor your progress during this phase.
Step 2: The next step will be to complete your in-water training in a swimming pool. You will require 6 hours of pool time which will be held in Edmonton for 1 day with one of our instructor’s.
Step 3: The final step is to complete 4 open-water training dives. There are 2 ways to complete this phase of your course. #1- Do your dives with Aqua-Tek Scuba at a local Alberta lake or on one of our trips to Nanaimo, B.C. #2- Get a Global Referral and on your warm water trip, complete your dives there.
